Katie McNamara

    Katie is the Lead Asia Pacific Partner for Monitor Deloitte, and also leads the Strategy business within Australia, is a member of the Global Strategy Leadership team and Deloitte Australia’s Consulting Executive team. Katie specialises in FMCG and retail, working in growth and innovation strategy. Prior to joining Deloitte, Katie was at Foster’s Group and Treasury Wine estates, where she was the Director of Strategy and M&A, after a number of years with McKinsey & Company.

    She is an active contributor to non-for-profits within Australia, having been a director of the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery for six years, and Diabetes Australia, Tasmania, for the past five years, as well as developing strategy for a number of other NFP organisations.

    Katie has an MBA from Melbourne Business School, with an exchange at Cornell University, and has studied marketing at Harvard. Katie is also a Pharmacist and has owned her own Pharmacy businesses for the past 19 years. She was recognised as a leader in the Pharmacy and Retail Industries within Australia, as the Telstra Tasmanian Business Woman of the year, the Young Australian Career Achiever of the year, and as a Rupert Murdoch Fellow.

    Katie is a proud Tasmanian, is married to Paul and has a daughter, Georgia.
